JAKARTA - PT Molca Teknologi Nusantara, also known as Molca, attended the Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo held on August 27-28, 2024. The Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2024, an initiative by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, aims to be the main platform for discussions, innovations, and exhibitions on digital transformation and the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in Indonesia. The event featured a variety of solutions across sectors such as manufacturing, education, healthcare, tourism, transportation, telecommunications, marketplaces, universities/academia, associations, research and development (R&D) centers, civil society, technology providers, and startups.
Molca was represented by Ali Fikri as the CEO, along with a team consisting of Dwika Widyantama, Farhan Muhammad, and Achmad Fatrian.
At the event held in the Grand Ballroom of Jiexpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Molca showcased its Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Metaverse Experience (MR) solutions. Some of the solutions and products introduced by Molca, which visitors could try out firsthand, included VR Firefighter (APAR), Digital Twin, and ALICA (Artificial Learning Intelligent Coaching Assistant).
More specifically, VR Firefighter (APAR) is a Virtual Reality (VR) simulation designed to train firefighters in realistic yet safe scenarios. In this simulation, participants can experience various emergency situations, such as building fires, car fires, or other conditions that require firefighting skills. Users can learn firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and the use of fire extinguishers without having to be in actual dangerous situations. This simulation allows firefighters to practice their responses to various scenarios, enhancing their skills and preparedness in dealing with real fires.
Next is the Digital Twin product, an advanced virtual representation of a physical object, process, or system that mirrors its actual condition. This digital twin integrates real-time data collected from sensors installed on the physical object, enabling accurate simulation of behavior, operation monitoring, and analysis. Digital twins can be applied on various scales, from a single component within a machine, such as a motor, to more complex systems like factory production lines, power grids, or even smart cities. With digital twins, companies can monitor the condition and performance of their assets in real-time, providing deeper insights for more precise decision-making. Additionally, digital twin technology allows for more immersive visualization and interaction through integration with Augmented Reality (AR), enabling users to view and control digital models directly within a physical environment. This opens up new opportunities in asset monitoring, training, and maintenance, allowing for faster, data-driven decision-making. Digital twins have become an essential tool in digital transformation across various industries.
Additionally, there is ALICA (Artificial Learning Intelligent Coaching Assistant), a virtual assistant designed with artificial intelligence technology. ALICA has been trained to answer various user questions and can be customized based on the industry using it. ALICA can also be integrated with Virtual Reality technology and used alongside VR headsets to provide assistance in learning processes or employee training. This is a unique feature of ALICA, which is currently the only AI solution in Indonesia that can be integrated with Virtual Reality.
The solutions presented by Molca successfully attracted the interest of exhibition visitors to try out the AR and VR experiences firsthand. Visitors were highly enthusiastic about the technology brought by Molca. Over the course of two days, the Molca booth was never empty, resulting in dozens of potential new collaborations in the fields of AR, VR, and Metaverse Experience.
